This kit includes everything you need to build a pond. We call this the intermediate kit. The Savio Skimmerfilter is probably the best skimmer on the market today. 

If at a later time you wish to increase your pond size you can just purchase a new face plate with a larger opening.
Also, you can drop in a Savio UV Sterilizer (space for up to 2x26W or 2x50W UV units) - all with no retro fitting or cutting your piping needed. No other skimmer allows these inexpensive and convenient options.
